Bengal Palace

We were delighted to be asked by the Bengal Palace Restaurant in Seaford to suggest a new marketing strategy and online presence for this popular Sussex restaurant serving innovative cuisine from India and Asia.

This family run businesses, established in 1987, needed a comprehensive upgrade of their existing marketing and we suggested a brand refresh; a new professional website with content management allowing for menus and price changes when necessary; a blog for their items of news and, more importantly, a gallery in which to showcase their cuisine.

Knowing that imagery was to be a crucial element in the design and appeal of the site, we set-up a mini-studio within the restaurant and set to work during two busy Friday and Saturday evenings. We were fortunate that diners were happy to be included in our shoot and, more importantly, chose a wide selection of dishes. As each was prepared ready for service, we shot them quickly on route between kitchen and table.

It was a great experience and the team at the Bengal Palace were friendly and accommodating allowing us to get the best images during what was a very busy weekend.

Working with no original artwork for logos or brand guidelines, we set about updating their brand images and following successive meetings agreed logo design, brand colours and drafted content. The subsequent meetings enabled us to garner a much greater idea for what the client required and a better overview of their target market.

The website is currently in build and has been designed to reflect the sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere of the Bengal Palace Restaurant with clean elegant lines and a predominantly blue and gold styling.

Their Adventure in Taste menu will be restyled to compliment the website design and to reflect the innovative contemporary dishes. Menu downloads will be available online for those customers who would prefer a printed copy.

The website will be easily viewed on mobiles and tablets and will be search engine optimised. The design will include analytics to give the restaurant an overview of performance, brand awareness and loyalty and provide them with the means to measure the success of future online marketing campaigns.
